Meet Our New Members

Soror LaShonya Heard-Winston has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Human Services. She shares her passion for people by volunteering with locations such as the Fulton County Juvenile Justice Center and Kingdom Harvest Outreach and others. She is a true example of what a Zeta does.

Soror Dawn Gates is the first mother of our mother daughter duo Zeta experience. She is a graduate of Mercer University with a Degree in Human Services and a Master’s in Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She has graciously been employed with the City of Atlanta for 19 years. In her spare time she conducts several community services projects.

Soror Abrya Gates is the first daughter of our mother daughter duo Zeta experience. Another one of our rising stars. She comes to us from Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies. She pursued her passion of communication by working as an intern student in the Public Relations Department with the City of Atlanta and as the Assistant producer for the Crush Sports Talk Show. She is now the proud founder and owner of Bite Sized Sweets & Treats.

Soror Gelisa Christian holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. She is the founder of Kamille’s Cabinet, a nonprofit program that provides a food pantry for those in need. Her current employment position is that of Counselor for Raven Counseling Service.

Soror Sandra Turner saw her future as a Zeta. She began as an Amicae while completing her degree. She holds Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and is currently working towards her Master’s in Public Administration. She is currently employed with Georgia Tech as an Administrative Professional.

Soror Deborah Jackson is Veteran of the United States Navy. She graduated from St. Leo University with a Bachelor’s of Arts, Cum Laude and Masters of Arts in Adult education from Central Michigan University, Magna Cum Laude. She is of course a member of the National Scholastic Honor Society. She is currently an Account Executive for the Department of Housing and urban Development.

Soror LaDonna Berry-Watson has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science and Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Columbia Southern University. She has been providing great Customer Service in several different areas of The Southern Company Gas since 2010. She participates in several community service areas such as Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity to name a few.

Soror Latilia Mack is the second daughter of our second mother daughter duo Zeta experience. She chose to follow her mother and graduated from Florida A & M. She chose the path of pharmacy. She completed school with a Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy. She uses her passion for people to provide health care, teach and promote scholastic achievements. Because of her commitment to others she chose to be employed with the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Soror Veronica Love is a Veteran of the United States Navy. She graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and has a Master’s Degree from Keller Graduate School of Management with a Master’s in Public Administration. She enjoys giving back to her community and has a soft spot for the elderly and disabled.

Soror Amarius Reed is a fire for children and a push for education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Science Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration both from Florida State University. She is currently employed at Cliftondale Elementary School as an Instructional Coach, where she was awarded Professional of the year in 2018.

Soror Gloria Lewis is the second mother of our mother daughter duo Zeta experience. She graduated from Florida A & M with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She has a passion for single parents and children.

Soror Kiaire Duclos is a young star in the making. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Valdosta State University. She is to say the least creative. She showcases her creativity in canvas painting, graphic designs and social media management along with other ways. We were most impressed as she pours back into the community by mentored to children at the Boys and Girls club and participates in many community projects.

Soror Arlene Grant is a Veteran of the GA Army National Guard. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education of Math and Science and Educational Specialist from Brenau University maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She is a veteran teacher of 20 years and currently teaches high school Gifted Mathematics in Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Soror Chundra Williams- Lawhorn represents a true example of a Zeta a trailblazer. As the first in her family to except the call of Zeta. She hopes that her one step will help those that follow to make the next steps. She graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies. She also holds a Masters of Education Degree in Initial Leisure and a Doctorate Degree in Education on K-12 Leadership.

Soror Queenie Brown holds her own. She recently graduated with a Business of Arts Degree from Albany State University. She does not plan to stop there. She is currently working on her Master’s in Public Administration.
